Chaos
A fragment of origin, where the chaos of the elements crystallizes into a harmonious form, transforming primordial energy into contemporary balance
“Chaos” is not just a table, but a material narrative: a fragment of origin, where the disorder of the elements crystallizes into a harmonious form, transforming primordial energy into contemporary balance.
A sculptural object born from the idea of origin: the moment when the elements—fire, air, water, and earth—blend together in no apparent order, giving rise to matter and, with it, beauty.
The barrel-shaped top is crafted from textured glass, a dense and vibrant surface that seems to hold within it traces of heat and movement. The warm hues, ranging from deep brown to smoky gray, intertwine in irregular, tactile textures, evoking surfaces shaped by fire and weathered by time. Light filtering through the glass creates shifting depths, as if the material were still in the process of transformation.
The bases, enveloping and sculpted, are also made of textured glass and take on fluid, almost organic forms. They are not mere supports, but dynamic elements that seem to emerge and envelop the tabletop, reminiscent of air currents, lava flows, or waves in motion. Their presence is solid yet never static: every angle reveals a new balance, a new dialogue between solids and voids.
The whole creates a composition in which chaos becomes perceptual order: primordial forces are translated into a contemporary language, made up of transparencies, layering, and controlled movement.
